The annual Flower Mound Fire Department Open House on Oct. 8 was another overwhelming success with more than 2,500 residents in attendance. While there, citizens of all ages met their local first-responders and learned more about the equipment used in emergency situations.
Families also had the opportunity to take a tour of Central Fire Station; watch a demonstration of an extrication; try-on firefighter gear; help a fireman use a fire hose; visit several exciting exhibits; and enjoy free hotdogs, popcorn and drinks served by Summit Club members.
