
The mission of the Flower Mound Fire and Emergency Services Department is to "protect life and property" and fulfill the needs and expectations of our community by providing the highest quality fire suppression, emergency medical, rescue, fire prevention and emergency management services.
On a scale of 1-10, with 1 being the best and 10 considered the worst, the Flower Mound Fire Department was recognized as an ISO Class 2 department. The ISO (Insurance Services Office) is an independent organization employed by the insurance industry to evaluate a community's ability to control fire. Only a dozen departments statewide are better than a class 3.
