WHERE CAN I PARK?
Limited parking is available on site at both the LISD Administration Building for the Children’s Parade and at Bakersfield Park inside the festival during the evening hours. We will be announcing alternate parking locations and shuttle service locations for both events shortly, so please check again for those locations.

FREE SHUTTLE PARKING
Free Shuttle service will start running at 5:00 PM and will run until 9:15 PM.

WHAT ARE THE FESTIVAL HOURS?
Children’s Parade & Free Kid’s Zone
11:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Parade line-up starts at 10:30 AM)
Independence Fest Evening Celebration
5:00 PM – 10:30 PM
HOW MUCH IS IT TO GET IN?
All activities and events are FREE.
WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE FESTIVAL?
Chairs-in-a-bag, blankets and strollers
Cameras and binoculars
Depending on the weather forecast, it may be a good idea to bring sunscreen, insect repellent or umbrellas.
WHAT IS NOT ALLOWED INTO THE FESTIVAL?
No ice chests are allowed.
Alcoholic beverages will not be allowed in or out of the festival grounds, but will be sold on site.
No weapons of any kind (firearms, knives, etc).
No Illegal narcotics or contraband.
No skateboards, bicycles, Segways or scooters.
This is a NON-SMOKING event, per Town of Flower Mound Ordinance No. 71-08.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
In the case of severe weather during festival hours, announcements will be made with specific instructions for evacuation. The fireworks celebration would then be postponed until July 5, 2012.
