On Monday, July 4, 2011, the Town of Flower Mound will host a day-long celebration like never before.  By combining the celebration of Independence for the United States with our own 50th Anniversary celebration, we are proud to present Independence Fest 2011. 

Beginning at 11:00 AM with the Children’s Parade at the LISD School Administration Building and ending with an exciting fireworks show that follows the free concert featuring classic rock icons Grand Funk Railroad at Bakersfield Park. 

Independence Fest 2011 will also host performances by Professor D and Mound of Sound, a vintage car show presented by Memory Lane Car Shows, a showcase of our local businesses, and a completely FREE Kid’s Zone complete with bounce houses, face painting, and more.

All Independence Fest 2011 activities will take place on July 4, 2011.

The Independence Fest 2011 Children’s Parade will take place from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM at the LISD School Administration Building, 1800 Timber Creek Road, Flower Mound, 75028.

All other Independence Fest 2011 activities will take place at Bakersfield Park, 1201 Duncan Lane, Flower Mound, 75028, with gates opening at 5:00 PM. (Check the FAQ page for Maps and Parking information).
