Illegal dumping is the unlawful disposal of trash. Illegal dumping raises significant concerns regarding public health and safety, property values, and quality of life. Typical illegal dumping materials include: construction waste and debris, appliances, automobiles, yard waste, and household trash.
Take note of details such as location, time, license plate number if possible, vehicle description, dumper’s description, etc. Do not approach the illegal dumper. Then call the Town of Flower Mound’s ILLEGAL DUMPING HOTLINE at 972-874-JUNK.

The Town of Flower Mound’s Environmental Compliance Team is a multi-departmental unit that ensures increased and sustained enforcement against illegal dumping and other related environmental crimes within the Town Limits.
The Environmental Compliance Team was funded by North Central Texas Council of Governments, through a grant from the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality. Funds from the grant provided for the necessary resources and training for field personnel to proactively resolve potential environmental crimes that employees confront during their regular job duties.
