Property SearchThe Lakeside Business District and Denton Creek District provide the Town with ample land in a desirable and accessible location to attract quality economic development.

Located at the southern entrance to Flower Mound on International Parkway (FM2499), the Lakeside Business District is bordered on the north by Spinks Road, the town limits on the east and Lake Grapevine on the west. Approximately $25M has been invested in public improvements including water and sewer extensions, the construction of Lakeside Parkway and Silveron Boulevard, and the expansion of Gerault Road. Premier developments within the Lakeside Business District include Lakeside DFW, Lakeside Trade Center, Lakeside Commerce Center, Lakeside Ranch, Flower Mound Business Park, and Corporate Ridge.

Lakeside Business DistrictThe Denton Creek District is located in the western portion of Flower Mound near Alliance Airport and the Texas Motor Speedway. Development in the district will benefit from excellent regional access provided by Interstate 35-W, US 377 and FM 1171. Land uses will include major retail, village retail, retail, campus commercial, campus industrial, office and light industrial/office/flex office.

The Town of Flower Mound established its Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone (TIRZ) in September 2005 to provide funds for public infrastructure within the Town’s FM 2499 corridor. The TIRZ consists of approximately 1,465 acres and ad valorem tax revenues collected above the base value established in 2005 go toward funding proposed improvement projects over a 20-year period.

In addition to these business districts, a variety of other prime commercial development locations exist within Flower Mound including: The FM2499 and FM3040 corridors, the FM407 intersection, Parker Square, and the Riverwalk at Central Park.
