Flower Mound is located in North Central Texas at the southern edge of Denton County between Lake Grapevine and Lewisville Lake. The town is 20 miles northwest of Dallas, 25 miles northeast of Fort Worth, and three miles north of Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) International Airport making it "ten minutes from anywhere in the world."
Denton County
Denton County is one of 254 counties in Texas and includes 957 square miles with 45 municipalities within its boundaries. Denton County's 2009 estimated population is 628,300.

Dallas/Forth Worth Metroplex (DFW)
The DFW Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) is comprised of two metropolitan divisions, Dallas on the east and Fort Worth on the west, with a combined population of 6,457,675. Flower Mound is centrally located in the DFW Metroplex between I-35E and I-35W,making it a short drive to neighboring cities.
