venues are nearby. Friday night in Texas means high school football
in the fall. State championship teams are associated with both
Marcus High School and Flower Mound High School. College sports
including all women and men’s NCAA sports are found at
area colleges and universities. University of North Texas in
Denton, Southern Methodist University in Dallas, University of
Texas at Arlington and Texas Christian University in Fort Worth
all excel at various intercollegiate sports.
