2011-2012 Tax Rate Notice

The Town of Flower Mound adopted a tax rate that will raise more taxes for maintenance and operations than last year's tax rate. The tax rate will effectively be raised by 1.27 percent and will raise taxes for maintenance and operations on a $100,000 home by approximately $7.62.

Property Tax Information

All real and personal property in the State of Texas is subject to ad valorem property taxes,and is appraised by central appraisal districts (CAD), which are typically located within each county in the state. Properties in the Town are appraised by the Denton CAD and Tarrant CAD. The Town also contracts with the Denton County Tax Office for the assessment and collection of its ad valorem taxes.
