Fence Program

Funding allocated to neighborhood improvement projects will be utilized for the purpose of enhancing perimeter fencing in selected areas. The fence program will address concerns relative to the perimeter fencing along Flower Mound’s thoroughfares for many of the Town’s more established subdivisions. The majority of the subdivisions with non-uniform perimeter fencing are not mandatory homeowner’s association subdivisions. These established subdivisions typically do not have specific criteria or requirements for the ongoing maintenance of the perimeter fencing.

Town staff will provide notification and specific program details to residents eligible for fence repair/replacement. The objective of the fence replacement program is to utilize funding allocated toward neighborhood improvement to promote reinvestment into the neighborhoods and enhance the appearance of the perimeter fencing.
