Lamaze Childbirth Education Program

This class is for pregnant couples to create awareness about normal, healthy, and natural
pregnancy and childbirth. This course will help
couples widen their knowledge on childbirth
and learn about all of the choices they have in
pregnancy and birth. Build your confidence in
your journey towards celebrating the birth of

Birth Options after a C-Section(VBAC)

This class is intended for parents who are planning a vaginal birth after a cesarean. This class will focus on creating a positive mindset for birthing normally, coping skills, involving and preparing older siblings for the birth and the new baby, and connect with other parents who are sharing a similar experience. This will give you a chance to identify what worked and what did not in your past births, and spend a few hours focusing on this pregnancy. Instructor: Ramya Ram

Baby Care Basics

This class is designed to help parents respond with confidence to their baby’s individual needs and build positive relationships in the process. Learn what your baby can do in their first hours, days, weeks, and months. Find out how newborns sleep, eat, communicate, function, and develop physiologically and neurologically. American Red Cross Kid Care Babysitting Class

Students will develop rhythm, poise, and coordination while learning the fundamentals of ballet and tap. Basic Guitar Class

This class will include sight-reading, chords, and scales. This is a great class for those who have always wanted to learn. The instructor will work with each student at their current skill level, to ensure that everyone improves. Instructor: Jeremy Emmert

Summer Adventure Camp

“Every Day is Your Adventure” is the theme for the Summer Adventure Camp for youth entering the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th grades in the fall of 2009. This program is designed to give youth a daily opportunity to explore and discover fun and exciting activities around the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex. Daily activities may include Six Flags, Game Works, Laser Quest, Paint Ball, Speed Zone, Hurricane Harbor, and much more. Counselors: CAC Staff

Garden Art Camp

In this four day class your young artist will complete eight masterpieces using five different mediums. You’ll be proud to frame and hang these pieces of art. Professional artists and certified instructors of the Robert Garden School of Art teach perspective, composition, color mixing, and special brush strokes step-bystep. All art supplies are provided. Kids’ Yoga Club

This class uses fun yoga postures and interactive games to help develop your child’s ability for strength, flexibility, coordination, and relaxation. Prenatal Yoga

This class is a safe, effective, and peaceful way to exercise during pregnancy. It teaches movement, breath, and postures that can both mentally and physically help women through pregnancy, labor, delivery, and motherhood. Prenatal yoga provides an opportunity for women to deepen the connection with their growing baby, appreciate and celebrate their changing body, and connect and converse with other expectant mothers. Mommy & Me Postnatal Yoga

This class is designed to help the postpartum mother safely get back into shape while bonding with her new baby. Women will learn yoga postures and practices to help ease aches, revive overstressed muscles, and nurture the body, mind, and spirit. Baby exercises are incorporated to develop your baby’s motor skills, right and left brain integration, tactile and auditory senses, and the special bonding time with mommy. Previous yoga experience is not required. All participating mothers must be cleared for exercise by their physicians prior to attending. Please bring a yoga mat for mom and a comfortable blanket for baby. Instructor: Bethany Pilat
