“Hand to Paw Month” Benefits Animal Services

Hand to Paw Month NEWSFLASH

The second annual Hand to Paw Month benefiting Flower Mound Animal Services will begin October 15 through November 15. This campaign was created last year by local Girl Scout Cadette Troop 4778, in an effort to earn the prestigious Silver Award. Now, after earning the award, the Troop has handed the campaign over to the Old Settlers Elementary Giving Tree Club as part of its fall community outreach project.

Hand to Paw Month is meant to raise awareness about Flower Mound Animal Services, specifically the services provided and benefits to the community, while also encouraging residents to help restock the Adoption Center with needed supplies like litter, dog and cat food, blankets, beds, and more. See the full list of brand specific items needed by visiting,

Starting October 15, donation drop boxes can be found at Old Settlers Elementary School (2525 Old Settlers Rd.), the Flower Mound Senior Center (2704 W. Windsor Dr.), and Flower Mound Town Hall (2121 Cross Timbers Rd.) Residents are also welcome to bring donations directly to Flower Mound Animal Services, 3950 Justin Rd., to check out the adoptable pets, and receive a free bumper sticker for their donation.
