Improvements to Heritage Park continue with construction on Phase 3 set to begin in early June. Residents can look forward to 25 additional lighted parking spaces, concrete sidewalk and trail additions, a splash pad with shade structures, a restroom building, erosion control, and a new pavilion. This phase of the project will take approximately nine months to complete and several areas of the park will be closed during construction. The areas affected will include Fort Wildflower Community Playground, the pavilion, restrooms, sections of trails and parking areas, as well as a small area on the east side of the park. Improvements made to the Town’s park system, such as this, enhance the quality of life for Flower Mound residents and Town staff appreciates your understanding throughout the course of construction.
