Participants will enjoy a outdoor showing of the movie "Goosebumps" in the Town's beautiful Heritage Park. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair and stretch out under the nighttime sky! Food trucks will be on hand with great food available for purchase. Movie will begin at 7 p.m.

Dive Deep for Pumpkins at the CAC!
Why pick a pumpkin, when you can dive for one? Children, ages 3 through 12, are invited to dive for pumpkins at the Community Activity Center (CAC) indoor pool on Saturday, October 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. Once participants select the perfect pumpkin, they can head to the Party Room to decorate it where all supplies will be provided. The dives will be separated according to the following age groups:
• 3-5 years-old, 1 p.m.
• 6-8 years-old, 1:15 p.m.
• 9-10 years-old, 1:30 p.m.
• 11-12 years-old, 1:45 p.m.
Please note, an adult must be in the water with all 3- to 5-year-olds and non-swimmers. The cost is $3 for CAC members and $5 for non-members. This event fills up quickly, so be sure to register early at www.flower-mound.com/specialevents.

Don’t miss this special after-hours celebration of the arts, featuring an art show by students in LISD West Zone schools, performing groups, and other arts-related happenings. Refreshments will be served. This event is free and open to the public in the main Library. The Friends of the Library Book Sale Preview will be held concurrently in the Library Program Room, with a $5 admission charge.

Geared toward babies who are not yet walking, and their parents/caregivers. The program will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m (except August), and will encourage babies to explore the world of language through books, songs, rhymes, and other activities geared toward motor skill development.Registration is not required.

Join us for the presentation "All About Bats" on Wednesday, October 26 at 7:00 p.m. at the Flower Mound Public Library. This introduction to bats will cover bat biology and habitat; species of bats, including Texas bats; and bat and human interactions. Presenter Scott Kiester is a Texas Master Naturalist. For several years he volunteered with the Houston Bat Project as a “Bridge Host” at the Waugh Street Bridge bat colony. This presentation is recommended for ages 10 and up.
