Adoption Information

The listed animals are ready for adoption. All animals may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays at the Flower Mound Animal Adoption Center, 3950 Justin Road. After-hour appointments are available upon request.

There is no charge to adopt a dog or cat; however, state and town ordinances require that the adopter have the animal vaccinated for rabies and spayed or neutered within 15 days of adoption.

Pets of the Week

Meet Hazel & Dakota; two adoptable pets in search of furrr-ever homes.

Hazel is a 5-year-old Pit Bull Terrier. She already knows the “sit” command, and loves toys and lots of attention. Hazel needs to be in a home with no other pets, and no small children. She is energetic, and enjoys being outdoors.

Dakota is a 4-month-old domestic shorthair, who is already spayed and current on her rabies vaccination. She is an independent girl, who loves to explore, but can’t refuse a warm lap to cuddle up in. Dakota is reserved when first meeting people, and needs some encouragement to come out of her shell.
