Adoption Information


The listed animals are ready for adoption. All animals may be viewed from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays at the Flower Mound Animal Adoption Center, 3950 Justin Road. After-hour appointments are available upon request.

There is no charge to adopt a dog or cat; however, state and town ordinances require that the adopter have the animal vaccinated for rabies and spayed or neutered within 15 days of adoption.

Pets of the Week

Meet Dixie and Mouser; they're in search of furrrr-ever homes!

Dixie is a 14-year-old, young at heart, Pit Bull Terrier. She is a playful, affectionate girl, who is eager to please. Dixie will make a great companion, and will do well in a home with children of any age.

Mouser is a 5-year-old domestic shorthair, who is already neutered. He is a special cat with polydactyl paws, meaning extra toes, and a natural short tail. Mouser is declawed, litter box trained, and loves attention and affection. He likes to be petted, and will do best in a home without small children.
