Bridging the Gap Between Residents and Local Government
Flower Mound residents are invited to participate in the Flower Mound Citizens’ Academy. Participants will gain a better understanding of their Town’s government and the services provided, while Town staff will gain valuable insight into the priorities and needs of residents.
Sessions are held three times each month from 7 pm to
9 pm* at different Town facilities, beginning in January and concluding in March, with a graduation ceremony in April.

Each week will feature presentations from different Town staff representing various Departments. It is free to Flower Mound residents and business owners, 18-years and older, who are able to commit to all sessions. Registration is limited to the first 20 applicants.
**REGISTRATION FOR THE 2017 ACADEMY IS CLOSED BECAUSE WE HAVE REACHED THE MAXIMUM CAPACITY**
Registration will reopen in October for the 2018 Academy, and will conclude in December, or until the maximum of 20 participants is reached **
