The FM 1171 Section 1 reconstruction project is fully funded, a majority of the right-of-way has been acquired, and design is currently underway. TxDOT will let the project November 2007.

Staff received authorization from TxDOT to install traffic signals at the intersections of FM 1171 at High Road and Flower Mound Road. The Town has installed temporary traffic signals at these locations, with permanent signals to be installed as part of the FM 1171 project.
