24th Annual Celebration Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day

Join The Committee to Commemorate M. L. King Jr. Day by honoring the immeasurable contributions of Dr. King in this annual celebration. This year's event will be held at the Flower Mound High School Auditorium, and will include entertainment and a keynote speaker. Everyone is welcome to attend and enjoy this free event. NEW - Movie In The Park

Join us for a family friendly movie at the Town’s sporty Gerault Park! Bring a blanket or lawn chair and stretch out under the nighttime sky. Food trucks will be on hand with amazing food for purchase. Movie will begin at approximately 8 p.m. This event is free to the public. 

Easter Egg Scramble 

Saturday, April 8, 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
Jake’s Hilltop Park

Bring your children to Jake’s Hilltop Park as the Town celebrates its 34th Annual Easter Egg Scramble, presented by Primrose Schools. Lots of candy will be available for the taking and there will be a special appearance by the Easter Bunny! Activities begin at 1:30pm, and the Scramble begins promptly at 2:30 p.m. This event is free to the public.

Underwater Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday, April 15, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
CAC Indoor Pool
Hop on over to the CAC for the Underwater Egg Hunt! Egg-citing activities include a visit by the Easter Bunny, arts and crafts, and games. Stay around after the egg hunt to play in the pool and enjoy other activities. Parents must be in the water with all non-swimmers. The cost per child is $5 for CAC members and $6 for CAC non-members. Pre-registration is required.
3-4 years – 10 a.m.
5-6 years – 10:20 a.m.
7-8 years – 10:40 a.m.
9-12 years – 11 a.m. 

18th Annual Father Daughter Prom

Saturday, April 22, 6 to 9 p.m.
Flower Mound Senior Center
2701 West Windsor Road
Share a special experience with your daughter and show how much you love her! Fathers and their daughters are invited to dress to impress for a memorable evening of dancing, entertainment, food, and unforgettable father daughter bonding time at the Flower Mound Senior Center. Photographers will be on-site to take photos for an additional charge. The cost is $50 per couple and $15 for each additional child. Registration is required by April 15.  

Truck Rodeo

Wednesday, April 26, 3 to 4:30 p.m.
Flower Mound Public Library
See Town vehicles from the Parks, Streets, Animal Control, Fire and Police Departments up close in the Library parking lot. Operators will be available to answer questions and let children sit in the driver’s seat. All ages are welcome. Don’t forget your camera! For more information, call 972.874.6200. 

Kid Fish

Saturday, May 6, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Rheudasil Park Pond
2401 Lake Forest Blvd.
The Rheudasil Park Pond will be stocked with more than 500 lbs of catfish for the event, which is free for youth ages 16 and younger. Prizes and awards will be given in several categories.
